Heroes Media Group Covers the Veteran Resource Expo
HMG Staff – Carl S. Ey March 21, 2016
Washington, DC – Heroes Media Group, LLC. — The Heroes Media Group (HMG) will participate in the Veteran Success Resource Group (VSRG) exposition on March 23, 2016 at the Springfield American Legion Post. VSRG brings to local Veteran communities a wide array of medium and large businesses, universities, government agencies and veteran service organizations (VSOs), all of which provide services or employment opportunities for Veterans and their families.
“We are so proud to support VSRG in their endeavors to support veterans and connecting them with their communities. The VSRG is simply a great group of patriots,” said Adam Bird, HMG co-founder and former Army non-commissioned officer. “This is a great opportunity for HMG to meet, greet and interview the various organizations supporting this event on Thursday. If you have served or are a family member, don’t miss this expo!”
Veterans, National Guard/Reserves, Active Duty, Spouses, Caregivers and additional family are invited to attend at no cost but must register at http://bit.ly/1mXorNY.
Heroes Media Group will send a media team to the expo to introduce the veteran-community to the largest internet radio station in the country founded and operated by combat veterans. HMG will interview the organizations supporting the veteran community at no cost and look forward to meeting our fellow veterans.
The expo will offer the following services for those attending: business startup and growth services, industry expert roundtables, post-9/11 GI Bill counseling, pension and disability benefits guidance, PTSD, TBI and suicide prevention education and services from a wide array of Veteran Service Organizations.
“This is another quality effort by VSRG to support those who served as well as their families. We are grateful to participate,” said Sam Cachola, HMG co-founder and former Marine. “Stop by and say hello and visit us on our website at www.heroesmediagroup.com or friend HMG on Facebook.”
Another fabulous event at the expo is the Dun & Bradstreet “Access to Capital Lender Matchmaking” session bringing Veteran Entrepreneurs together with an array of small business lenders. Budding veteran entrepreneurs will meet with lenders and leave more informed with a free Dun & Bradstreet credit report to use to plan their future business venture.
“As an entrepreneur myself, I would have greatly appreciated this type of support when I started HMG,” said Bird. “This is a top-notch effort from a great group of experts taking care of veterans!”
The expo begins at 10 a.m. at the American Legion Post at 6520 Amherst Ave. in Springfield, Virginia. For additional HMG information, please email newsdesk@heroesmediagroup.com or call 202.656.7959.
